My kitty is gone and I don't think she's coming back.

    I feel sick.

I've been taking a bit of a livejournal break, so don't think I've been shunning you... I've just not been here.

    Anyway... I got into OCAD!

Also, I'm working on a project based on the names of people within an immediate family. If you want to help me out with that, e-mail me the full (middle name(s) included) names of the members of your immediate family. The finished products should be interesting...

Strange dreams. The Star Trek ones have returned. TNG if you were wondering. Picard was pregnant with Troy's child and Riker pet the calf on the holodeck and Troy, secretly possessed by an alien presence, taunted the cow.

In other news I appear to be sick. I hope that if I ignore it, it will get the hint and leave.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to let the people who didn't just get my big mass e-mailing that I have an opening on the 8th for the window of The Knit Cafe. They get a different artist to do the window every month, and January is ME! The store is on Queen West just west of Ossington and is easy to get to by either the Ossington bus (get off at Queen) or the Queen Streetcar (get off at Ossington). The store is bright orange and has the fuzzy stuffed animals and leaves I made hanging in the window. The party's from 2-5 with possible further partying afterwards. Hope to see you all there!

I FINISHED MY SHOW!!! It was fucking hard, but things are ready to go up this afternoon. I'll have to add a bunch of lit tomorrow (Tues.) after my haircut, since I'm really in no state to type right now, but the general stuff is done. Peter was amazingly helpful and sewed pinbacks on for me most of tonight. Yay Peter!!!
Wow. This is the first time I've actually managed to get things done in a fairly calm manner. I even got to go out for New Years. Mind you, I was sewing a yellow mouse named Stacey the entire evening...

I need sleep now. Gotta write up that price list tomorrow.

Do you ever realize you need all new clothes? Yeah, this is one of those times.

It feels like I should be an adult. Like I should be starting on that path at any rate... I got my proposal in. A first step maybe.

I need to pull things together instead of just pulling in new things.

George Brown sent me money! Yay, I am no longer broke! Now you can all have presents, assuming I can knit/sew fast enough. Thinking of doing a top-secret festive project, but I'm not saying what, because then I'd have to kill you. Which would make the project pointless. Which would suck. This proposal is taking much, much longer than I would like, but I seem to be nearing the end. Monday if not today. And you know what? It WILL kick ass. So much ass in fact, that you will be all like "Oh no! Maddy's proposal has kicked my ass!" That's the plan anyway, what actually occurs remains to be seen.
I have a ton of reading to do for Tightrope now, but most of it looks pretty enjoyable, which is nice. Some of it looks downright exciting (Emma knows what's what, eh?).
I seem to be having a pretty manic bout at the moment, but that's okay because I have a fucking ton of stuff to get through (does anyone else have 25 people to make presents for? 'cause damn). Sorry I'm not more interesting these days, but I seem to be either journalish or bad teenage girl depression or just plain old crazy, so there needs to be some evening out here.

I need to make more covers for Hooks vs. Needles #1. Anyone know how to unclog spray paint nozzles?

The mail monster has not struck, thank you for your interest. Phone sex is a dying art. All my arts are dying and sometimes I think it's at my touch. She fell down the stairs and was quite shocked to find not a bone broken, but he was not as lucky. Paper cuts are its only natural defense. The spray paint seems to be mad at me; I wonder what I did?

I have a plan for my proposal now... It's kind of set up like a children's book, which I think matches the content pretty well. I was going to try to have it in tomorrow, but now I'm thinking Wednesday would be better. I'd rather have it done well than try and rush it. I think it's going to be pretty darn spiffy. I'll try and figure out how to post some pictures of it once it's done. Stupid internet and it's confusifying.

Hey folks. I'm working on a big project (hopefully for Alley Jaunt 2006) and I need old acryllic sweaters (a cotton blend is okay, but NO animal fibres, this thing is going outside and I don't want it moth eaten). if you have any to donate just e-mail me. They will be totally destroyed, so make sure you can part with them. Thanks!
    7:16 pm
Full of cramps and chocolate. Hoping they'll cancel each other out.
